Take Propecia according to your doctor’s order; do not adjust your own dosage. Make sure that you follow the right prescription faithfully. Take a tablet with a glass of water everyday at the same day. It could be taken even on an empty stomach.

Use Propecia on a regular basis as long as recommended by your doctor; this is to ensure that you will get the full benefits it can offer. It may take at least three months or more before you can see any positive results; but only if you take it continuously and on a regular basis.

If Propecia did not work after 12 months of regular use, then you may need further to undergo further test and more advance treatment methods.

If after twelve and you have suddenly decided to stop taking Propecia for whatsoever reason, you will be likely to loose any hair that you have gained back during the entire treatment period.

Propecia is a very effective drug for male pattern hair loss there is no doubt about that. But these side effects are very true indeed too.  A potential user or a new user should be warned that the serious side effects do not immediately go away as soon as the patient stops taking Propecia. It ahs been reported that many are still suffering silently with the side effects years after they stopped taking Propecia.
